Poems in English & Swedish—featured in Tupelo Quarterly

Excited to share my poems from Ö, a collaborative translation project with J. Mae Barizo, published in Tupelo Quarterly. These pieces appear in English and Swedish—I also did the translations.

A huge thanks to Kristina Marie Darling (Editor-in-Chief), Wendy Chen (Associate Editor-in-Chief), and everyone else at Tupelo Quarterly for selecting the work.

Honored to contribute to Jean-Philippe Toussaint's Borges Project

I reached out to one of my literary heroes, the Belgian author Jean-Philippe Toussaint, to see if he’d do me the honor of reading a story of mine.

He said yes, liked my piece, and asked me to contribute a short story to his Borges Project.

The assignment was to write a personal interpretation of an apocryphal text by Jorge Louis Borges, which is evoked by Jean-Philippe in his wonderful novel, The Truth About Marie.

I wrote my story, “The Tears of Borges,” in English, and it was translated into French by Jimmy Poulot-Cazajous, a member of the staff of the literary revue, La Coudée (both versions available at Toussaint’s website).

I couldn’t be more pleased to be part of this.
